Across issues, my approach is consistent:
promote individual autonomy and agency,
decentralize power to communities,
remove profit from essential systems,
and hold institutions accountable for harm.
Federal policy requires extra care, because if not done well, it can shift power away from communities, have very different impacts in different areas, or be impossible for state and local governments to manage, rendering them a waste of resources.
I feel confident in these views, but they are bound to evolve as I — and the world — change over time.

We must stop funding Israel with billions of American workers' tax dollars every year. Instead we can invest that money in a STRONGER AMERICA.

Fully fund disability benefits and eliminate backlog
Water is life. Protect and restore all water: creeks, rivers, aquifers, coastlines, and drinking water.
End private profit from oil, gas, and mineral extraction. These are public resources and should serve the public, not shareholders.
Invest heavily in a diversified clean energy system that is publicly accountable, resilient, and not driven by profit.
Energy should be reliable, affordable, and safe, not a speculative market.
ICE is an institution of terror. It must be dismantled.
All ICE agents and superiors who participated in constitutional violations, family separation, abuse, disappearance, detention without due process, or psychological terror will be investigated and prosecuted.
Expose and prosecute all human trafficking networks, especially those operating at and around the Southern border, including corrupt officials and criminal networks who profit from it.
Create a just, safe, humane, and culturally informed immigration process—especially at the Southern border—rooted in dignity, due process, and international human rights.
End U.S. economic and political interference in Central and South America that destabilizes communities and forces migration in the first place.
End detention centers being for profit.
Guarantee safe, trauma-informed abortion access.
Focus on prevention through education, healthcare access, and social support so fewer people ever need an abortion.
Remove all profit from reproductive care and abortions. No one should make money from women’s reproductive health and trauma.
Make care available through local clinics and trusted community providers, not centralized government programs.

Protect LGBTQ+ people from discrimination, violence, and hate crimes, especially in housing, jobs, and schools.
Ensure the federal government does not censor or ban information about gender and sexual diversity, while keeping education developmentally appropriate, nuanced, and locally accountable—not federally imposed.
Invest heavily in ending LGBTQ+ homelessness by addressing root causes: family rejection, job discrimination, healthcare access, and housing.

Strengthen union rights and actively support workers who want to organize.
Invest in free job training based on what communities actually need, not what corporations say is profitable.
Prioritize government contracts for small and locally owned businesses, not large corporations. Stop corporate subsidies, no-bid contracts, and special favors that block competition.
Stop predatory corporate practices that undercut small businesses.
Expand small business loans and grants
Provide shared public infrastructure (distribution, payments, insurance, compliance support) that small businesses can use to compete.
End wars driven by profit and resource extraction; no taxpayer dollars funding corporate gain overseas.
Maintain a strong defensive military to protect the homeland, without engaging in unnecessary foreign conflicts.
